Primary7ks Class Blog

On Thursday 22nd of May both primary 7’s went to the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh. This was for Choices for Life which is about making the right choice in life and about awarness of drinking, smoking and drug using. This was a superb day out as there was a lot of entertanment and learning.  What made it even better was we won the Choices Family Fortunes because our name got pulled out of a bag. This means that the runner up from Any Dream Will Do, Keith Jack, is coming to our school some time in June.

Great excitement! We arrived here around 2p.m. and straight into our activities. Some were doing crate building, some on low ropes and some on canoeing.

Half of the P.7’s are off tomorrow – 9th -  on an activity weekend. It’s in the highlands of Scotland and we are really looking forward to it. We’re going for a long weekend and are going to be canoeing, gorge walking , hill climbing and more.

We’re going to write about our trip every day, so look out for what we get up to!

 We went to Larbert High a few days ago with other primary 7’s from other schools to talk about Eco things. We’re going to this school next year. This gave us a chance to see the school and meet new people.

One of the workshops was telling us about healthy eating . We tried cakes made of unusual things, like potatoes and carrots,and tried home-made smoothies-they were great!
