Rabbie Burns!

Being a scottish school, we always celebrate the anniversary of Robert Burns, our national poet. Our whole school are having a ‘Scottish Poetry’ competition with our neighbouring school tonight. Each class had to contribute 3 or 4 finalists. The poems are in broad scots, because that was the language of the time when Burns was alive. Here are our 4.
1st comes Rhys with ‘Willie Wassle’.
Nicola reciting’Here’s a Bottle’.
3rd we have Laura with a very short ‘Ma Auntie Jean’.
Last, but not least, we have Kieran with his version of ‘Willie Wassle’.
