 We had special health visitors in our school yesterday, who came to find out how well we try to promote health and well being in our school. They spoke to everyone including the monitors, playground friends, the pupil council and our Eco group.  We managed to get the highest accreditation so far, which is a silver award. Well done us! We told them we were blogging and asked if they would mind if we interviewed them on their day here. We did two separate interviews as they had split up to go and talk to different groups. Here’s what they thought.

This week everyone in our school went out walking. This was to encourage us to exercise more. Our class walked around ‘The Squiggly’. It took us about an hour.

 At this time of the year here in Scotland, we celebrate harvest time, so all the children in the school are asked to bring in  packets or tins to gather together to give the pensioners in our area a harvest parcel. The P.7’s have the job of delivering them. It’s good fun going out to all their houses, because they are usually surprised to see us and like to have a chat. It’s great to see how pleased they are when we appear at their door. We’ve recorded some interviews on our experiences!

On Tuesday 2nd October, lots of P.7 parents came to school to hear the children tell them about how they have been using blogging.
